NudgeFamily ("we," "our," or "us") is a family coordination app built by E-Skillora LLC. We take your family's privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a hashed password.

Family & Calendar Data: We store the family groups you create, event names, dates, times, visibility settings, and conflict flags you set within the app.

Usage & Analytics Data: We collect anonymized data about how you use the app — such as features accessed, session length, and onboarding steps completed — to improve the product.

Device Information: We may collect device type, operating system version, and crash logs to diagnose technical issues.

Payment Information: Subscription payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not store your payment card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the NudgeFamily service
• To sync your family calendar across devices
• To send you notifications about family events (only with your permission)
• To process your subscription and manage access to premium features
• To diagnose bugs and improve app performance
• To communicate service updates and support responses

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your family's calendar data for advertising purposes.

3. Data Sharing

We only share data in the following limited circumstances:

• Within your family group: Events and schedules are visible to family members you invite, according to the visibility settings you choose.
• Service providers: We use third-party services (such as cloud hosting and analytics providers) that process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.
• Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

4. Google Calendar Integration

If you connect Google Calendar, NudgeFamily accesses your Google Calendar data solely to display and sync events within the app. We do not store your Google credentials. You can revoke this access at any time from your Google account settings.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

NudgeFamily is designed for families. Kids Mode is accessible via a PIN set by a parent or guardian — children do not create their own accounts or provide personal information directly to us.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted data transmission (TLS), hashed passwords, and access-controlled infrastructure. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Opt out of non-essential analytics
